Tara & Nick | Wedding Photos | Kennewick First Methodist | Red Lion Hotel | Kennewick, WA

Tara and Nick are a genuinely sweet couple. Tara began the day getting ready at her parents' beautiful home on the Canyon Lakes golf course. After a short send-off ceremony with her family, everyone headed to Kennewick First Methodist for their beautiful ceremony. Sticking with tradition, Nick first saw Tara as she walked down the aisle. The couple surprised everyone with a belly dancer at the reception, held at the Pasco Red Lion. The crowd loved it! The dancing was unique and some of the most enjoyable we'd seen.

We're so glad they chose us to capture their day!

Robin & Justin | Engagement Photos | Wenatchee

When a storm approachers, take advantage! Robin & Justin are a couple of ambitious characters. (They'll get married after she's taken the bar exam!) They're both super-sweet together. They joke around, laugh, and genuinely enjoy each other.

We weren't sure if we'd get poured on by Ma Nature while we were in Wenatchee, but we got lucky and only had a few sprinkles. They were tons of fun to work with, and they were up for just about anything. (Yeah, she really got on the front of the bike and rode along.)

They'll be getting married sometime around August 2014, and we couldn't be happier to be shooting their wedding photos and movies!

Kevyn & Eddie | Wedding Photos | St Joe's, Kennewick, WA | Terra Blanca, Benton City

The day began with a bit of stress — At St. Joe's in Kennewick, the wedding before Kevyn & Eddie's looked like it was running an hour late! But the priests did well to move things along, and everything else went according to plan. The extra time provided us more photo opportunities, so we didn't complain. Terra Blanca, as always, provided a multitude of different looks for photos. The Benton City vineyard has stunning views and somehow manages to avoid the worst of the Tri-City winds. Kevyn & Eddie had a gorgeous getaway car, and gave us loads to work with at sunset. So fun!

Becca & Will | Wedding Photos | Connell United Methodist Church | Connell, WA

Thunderstorms and near-record heat weren't going to stop Becca & Will from tying the knot! These die-hard Coug fans had a WSU garter, and the reception was held in a "GO COUGS" farm shed. We knew these two were meant for each other when they admitted that they won't play tennis together: they get too competitive! The wedding at the Connell United Methodist Church went well despite being at capacity in the sanctuary. The minister had told us we couldn't move or use flashes during the ceremony, so it's at these times when we're thankful we have awesome equipment!

We lucked out on light — not only did the thunderstorms stop in time, but the clouds provided a wonderful backdrop. We're excited to share their day!

Bridgette & Quinn | Engagement Photos | Richland Parkway

One of the things we love most about the Tri-Cities is its predictability. Sure, it's hot in summer (today was 108°!), but we know what the light will probably do. Eastern Washington is sun-drenched most of the year, so shade is often critical! Bridgette and Quinn look good in any light though — we back-lit them near Howard Amon Park and used flashes, diffusers, and bounces to make the most of it. The most important thing in a photo shoot is the smile, and they sure delivered — it's easy to do when you're in love! We're excited to shoot their wedding next September!

Colleen & Ivan | Engagement Photos | Secret Vineyard and Train | Richland, WA

We're excited to be shooting this cute couple's wedding along the Columbia river next year! We made time for an engagement shoot with them at a secret winery in Benton City, then raced to an old train and a cornfield in Richland to take advantage of sunset.

Jennifer & Brian | Wedding Photos | Central United Protestant Church, Richland, WA

Photographers occasionally get blessed with a bride with a natural smile stuck on her nonstop...and we were lucky to have Jennifer fill this role! Both Jennifer & Brian were terribly fun to work with! This was one of the largest weddings we've ever shot, and they had the fun idea to get a single photo with all of them in the church. Four-hundred people staring at you for the shot. No pressure, right? We're thankful it turned out. :) One of the best ideas we've seen was for the garter toss. Normally, the garter goes 4 feet and guys don't fight for it. Brian wrapped it around a football and, of course, guys compete to catch a football! It's something we'll recommend to many future grooms.

We were able to get just enough time to take them to Leslie Groves park where the dwindling fall color looked amazing. Central United Protestant (CUP) Church made for some challenging lighting but a beautiful venue.

Kathrine & Brad | Wedding Photos & Movie | Stone Ridge, Pasco

It was another hot Tri-Cities wedding, but you wouldn't know it by watching Kathrine & Brad! Volleyball, badminton, and other games were played *on* the wedding day! You have to see the wedding movie to really appreciate how athletic this couple is. (Watch Kathrine throw a football!) Beyond their athleticism, it's clear they have a loving and committed relationship. And better still, their family supports them outwardly.

We see a lot of weddings, so it's fun when couples choose to do something different. Their peacock theme was sure new to us, and we loved it.

We know they'll have many, many years of fun and laughter ahead of them!

Kalah & Levi | Engagement Photos | Secret Winery, Benton City, WA

Kalah & Levi met in the middle — between his work in Idaho and hers in Oregon, we're thankful they found the middle ground of the Tri-Cities. He's an electrical lineman, and he'd brought his tools — so naturally they made use of them! What a charming, unassuming couple. Just a minute with them and you can tell that they're well-suited together. We wish them well for their wedding in Boise next June!

Andrea & David | Wedding Photos | Terra Blanca Winery, Benton City, WA

We're always thrilled to shoot at Terra Blanca Winery, but Andrea & David made it special! They had such a relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoyed the day thoroughly. Terra Blanca offers a multitude of photo opportunities in a small area (vines, wine barrels, grass fields, brick walkways, massive doors, etc), so we didn't feel it necessary to take them off site. Andrea & David are avid divers, so their tropical theme was especially fitting. The flowers were done by one of our favorites, Simplified Celebrations, who did a phenomenal job! (We didn't even know you could get some of those flowers in our neck of the woods.)

We're excited to share Andrea & David with you!
